Valentine’s gifts and treats could be extra special this year

Valentine’s gifts and treats could be extra special this year with a £10 boost for each customer from local retailers.

Councillor Liz Townsend, Waverley Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, said:

“Our independent retailers are offering a helping hand to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year with a £10 voucher and free delivery for customers buying through the local online marketplace Clickitlocal Clickitlocal.co.uk/waverley. Just enter the code WAVERLEY10 at the checkout to get the offer.”

Clickitlocal is an online store with a difference. It brings together local independent retailers on one platform selling food, drink, groceries and meal kits, gifts, clothing, homewares, and lots more. Shoppers place items from as many retailers as they want into one basket, choose a single delivery slot convenient to them and make one payment. Their purchases are delivered to their door or chosen safe place by a local delivery driver.

Clickitlocal is supported by Waverley Borough Council and brings nearly 40 local retailers closer to residents in order to help businesses respond to changing shopping habits and to help consumers shop in the way that is convenient and comfortable for them.

The Clickitlocal £10 voucher and complimentary delivery is available for one use per customer for purchases from stores in Waverley only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. The code is valid for local delivery only.
